DUAL EDUCATION AS A TOOL FOR THE INTEGRATION DEVELOPMENT OF HOTEL CHAINS

Abstract

This article explores the essence of dual education as an instrument for the integration development of hotel networks. The research delves into the effectiveness of this form of higher education, identifying challenges and advantages for educational institutions and hotel enterprises. A particular emphasis is placed on addressing the shortage of qualified personnel in the hotel industry through the implementation of dual education. The article examines existing experiences in organizing staff training within hotel chains such as Marriott, Accor, Hilton, Premier International, and Optima Hotels & Resorts. This analysis serves to enrich the understanding of successful dual education implementations in real-world scenarios. Analytical reviews and successful implementation examples of dual education at institutions including Tavria State Agrotechnological University named after Dmytro Motornyi, State University of Economics and Trade, National University of Food Technologies, Zaporizhzhia National University, Cherkasy State Technological University, Lviv Trade and Economic University, Volyn National University named after Lesia Ukrainka, Lviv National Technical University contribute to outlining the prospects of this educational strategy within the context of the Ukrainian hotel business. These instances contribute to delineating the prospects and effectiveness of this educational strategy within the landscape of the Ukrainian hotel business. The study evaluates the impact and success of dual education in effectively addressing the pervasive challenges associated with personnel shortages in the dynamic hospitality sector. It underscores the importance of fostering collaborative endeavors between academic institutions and industry stakeholders to navigate and overcome the complexities inherent in addressing workforce challenges. By elucidating successful implementations and establishing collaborations with major hotel networks, this article seeks to offer insights into the benefits and future trajectories that dual education holds for the Ukrainian hotel industry. The analysis of experiences aim to inform and guide future endeavors in shaping the landscape of education and workforce development within the dynamic hospitality sector.
