PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXCURSION ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE STRENGTHENING OF INTEGRATION PROCESSES ON THE UKRAINIAN-POLISH BORDER

Abstract

The article analyzes the organization of excursion activities in the aspect of strengthening integration processes on the Ukrainian-Polish border. The main vectors of the development of excursion activities in Ukraine, which are developing in the direction of expanding cooperation and building potential, compliance with market trends in the organization of excursion activities, and intensifying the impact of excursion activities on the development of cultural, sustainable, responsible, accessible and ethical domestic and international tourism, have been studied. In connection with the intensification of competition in the domestic excursion market, it is proposed to interest guests from abroad, primarily from the Republic of Poland, in local routes. This country, especially in recent months of increasing aggression of Ukraine with Russia, is actively promoting interest in monuments of the late Middle Ages and Renaissance, as well as more modern periods. As an example, the development of excursion routes through Polish castles and residences is proposed, similar to similar in content and cost-effective routes operated abroad. Innovative excursion products have been developed through the castles and residences of historical Volyn along routes organized according to the principle of territorial proximity of excursion objects. A list of the main points of five routes through Polish castles and residences in Volhynia is given Taking into account the tourism and excursion potential of Ukraine, the priority directions of the development of excursion activities have been determined. It was determined that the Republic of Poland, as one of Ukraine's closest neighbors, an EU member state that has the longest border with our country, and as a strategic partner of Ukraine, is at the same time the most important international partner from the point of view of Ukraine's implementation of cross-border cooperation, in particular, its integral part – tourism and excursion interaction. Along with other components, the cross-border cooperation of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in the field of tourism and excursions is the means by which the neighboring states are more able to solve their own political and economic tasks in the conditions of the new realities of the war unleashed by Russia. It has been proven that the difficult situation today unites Ukraine and Poland in many cases to jointly approach the formation and implementation of the policy of good neighborliness, in particular, in terms of tourism and excursion activities.
