Abstract

Relevance of the topic of labor market transformation under martial law and macroeconomic instability is driven by profound socio-economic changes that affect the functioning of enterprises and workers. Foreign experience demonstrates effective strategies for adapting the labor market to such challenges through the implementation of innovative employment mechanisms, support for economic activity, and stabilization of the economy. This article examines the key aspects of adapting this experience to the conditions in Ukraine, including changes in the employment structure, the development of remote work, workforce retraining, and support for small and medium-sized businesses. The importance of government support programs and international cooperation in the labor market transformation process is also emphasized as vital for reducing. Under the conditions of martial law and macroeconomic instability, labor markets undergo significant transformations that require the development of effective strategies to mitigate negative consequences. Adapting foreign experience can play a crucial role in restoring economic stability and reducing unemployment. Changes in the structure of the economy, migration processes, employment reduction, and increased demand for new professional competencies necessitate a systematic approach to labor market reform. Adapting foreign experience is crucial for the reform of Ukraine's labor market, as current challenges require comprehensive approaches to employment issues. Supporting small businesses, developing retraining programs, promoting remote work, and maintaining social stability can become the main tools for overcoming the consequences of war and macroeconomic instability. In the context of martial law and macroeconomic instability, the transformation of the labor market becomes particularly important for maintaining the economic resilience of the state and ensuring the well-being of its population. Military conflicts and economic shocks significantly impact all aspects of the labor market, including employment levels, working conditions, and mechanisms for economic adaptation. The study and integration of experiences from other countries that have faced similar challenges are essential components of this process. Global practices demonstrate that effective strategies for supporting employment, retraining workers, developing remote work, and stimulating small and medium-sized businesses can significantly mitigate the effects of crises. This article examines the key elements of foreign labor market transformation experience and analyzes its potential application in Ukraine to reduce the negative consequences of martial law and economic instability.
