THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS AND MODERN PRACTICES OF PERSONNEL ONBOARDING IN THE ENTERPRISE STAFFING SYSTEM: CHALLENGES AND ADAPTATION IN WAR CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article examines employee onboarding within personnel management systems, addressing the need for effective integration strategies in today's dynamic business environment. It explores the relevance of employee retention, productivity enhancement, and challenges of remote work and wartime conditions. The study aims to analyze current onboarding approaches, identify best practices, and develop recommendations for process improvement. The methodology combines literature review with qualitative analysis of case studies from domestic and international companies. It employs a comparative approach to examine various onboarding strategies across different organizational contexts. The study incorporates insights from HR professionals through semi-structured interviews, providing practical perspectives on implementation and outcomes. Findings reveal that successful onboarding programs are characterized by structured approaches, personalization, and integration of digital tools. The study highlights the importance of pre-boarding activities, mentor assignment, and continuous feedback. It identifies key challenges in onboarding during remote work and wartime conditions, including ensuring psychological safety and maintaining corporate culture. Notable results include the identification of innovative practices such as gamification and AI-driven personalization. The research emphasizes aligning onboarding processes with business strategies and corporate values, underscoring the role of leadership involvement and cross-departmental collaboration. The study provides insights into adapting onboarding during crises, offering strategies for maintaining effective integration despite physical distancing and security concerns. It highlights the focus on employee well-being, flexibility, and resilience-building in modern onboarding programs. The practical value lies in actionable recommendations for HR professionals and leaders. It offers a framework for developing comprehensive onboarding programs, guidance on leveraging technology, and strategies for adapting to remote and hybrid work environments. The findings contribute to understanding human resource management in challenging contexts, helping organizations improve employee engagement, reduce turnover, and accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires.
