DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: TRENDS AND CHALLENGES IN A COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Abstract
Modern total digitalization of all management and production processes the question of work with the personnel is one of the most actual and difficult. The digital economy creates opportunities of improving the quality of personnel management and its business processes automatization. Digital technologies are the tools of such automatization and digital transformation. Digitization is not a new trend in personnel management. It has been talked about for several years, but only now, in the context of global remote work and remote implementation of work processes in the face of the constraints caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital transformation of personnel management is moving from a fashion trend to a necessity. Business reduces the processes that slow down development, begins to seriously consider personnel management automation, invests resources in the development of technologies that will help make a breakthrough. This article is devoted to the study of digital technologies in personnel management. The main trends of personnel management digitalization, possibilities of introduction and level of development of digital HR-technologies in the software market are considered. The tendencies and development of digital transformation of personnel management in the context of a pandemic are investigated, the key factors activating and forming features of digital transformation of personnel management are defined. The introduction of innovative digital technologies in personnel management will cause the need to solve problems: updating the business processes of personnel management and updating the workforce and ways of organizing work processes. Problems and challenges for personnel management during the digital transformation are summarized, during the implementation in the practice of personnel management of communication robots, social networks, big data analysis, machine learning and cloud-based technologies. In each of the areas of personnel management digital transformation possible ways to overcome their implementation in the forced accelerated digital transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic have been identified.
