FEATURES OF INVESTMENT SECURITY OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF THE ECONOMY
Abstract
The article reveals the essence of the concept of "investment", "investment activity", "foreign investment", analyzes the approaches to determining the economic content of these concepts, conducts a study of the relationship between investment activity and the investment process. The studies of scientists regarding foreign investment activity have been reviewed and analyzed. The concept of investment has been analyzed as a factor that provides favorable conditions for exiting the economic crisis, develop of technical progress, and contributes to the increase of qualitative and quantitative indicators of the financial, economic and social activity of enterprises. Foreign investments have been studied as a guarantor of effective development of the national economy, as well as a lever for intensifying market competition and raising the general standard of living of the population. The theoretical and practical aspects of the development of foreign investment have been determined. Key and relevant areas for foreign investors to invest in Ukraine have been identified and analyzed. Trends in the formation and development of investment activities of agro-industrial production have been disclosed. An analysis of foreign direct investments has been carried out in the context of individual EU countries during the last five years. The reasons for the decline in agro-industrial production have been identified. The statistical aspects of the influence of direct foreign investment on the economy of Ukraine have been studied. Direct foreign investments, as well as their dynamics in Ukraine in recent years, have been analyzed. The problems of formation and implementation of an effectively operating enterprise management mechanism and further research into issues aimed at finding new strategic and innovative directions of development have been highlighted. The main factors of negative influence on the activity of domestic and foreign investors in relation to the agrarian sector of the economy of Ukraine have been highlighted. The main priority directions and goals of prospective development have been defined, the ways of increasing investment attractiveness and attracting a larger volume of foreign investments to Ukraine have been outlined.
