INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN TRADE AS A TOOL FOR MITIGATING INVESTMENT RISKS IN POST-WAR ECONOMIC RECOVERY
Abstract
The current aspects of trade digitalization as a tool for mitigating investment risks during Ukraine’s post-war economic recovery have been investigated. Theoretical and methodological approaches to risk management under conditions of military and post-war instability have been systematized, and contemporary trends in the development of trade infrastructure based on the implementation of integrated information systems have been analyzed. The essence and functional role of information systems as a mechanism for reducing information asymmetry, optimizing logistics chains, and enhancing the transparency of the investment environment for small and medium-sized enterprises have been substantiated. It has been proven that the use of ERP systems, cloud analytics, and business intelligence tools enables trade entities to proactively manage financial and operational threats. It has been determined that the implementation of such tools is critically important for minimizing the negative impact of external shocks on capital investments. Conceptual foundations for a two-level risk management model have been developed, combining internal enterprise efficiency with state macro-regulatory measures. It has been established that public-private partnership mechanisms serve as a significant factor in stimulating innovation and investment activity, allowing for the rational allocation of resources for the reconstruction of critical digital infrastructure. Priorities for state policy regarding the formation of a favorable institutional environment, which promotes the implementation of interoperable digital platforms and ensures conditions for the sustainable development of the domestic trade sector, have been identified. It has been substantiated that the integration of information systems fosters trust from international investors and increases the competitiveness of domestic trade within the European economic space. The prospects for development in this field, associated with the implementation of artificial intelligence, blockchain analytics, and advanced cybersecurity methods to ensure the resilience of supply chains in the long term, have been summarized.
