THEORETICAL, METHODOLOGICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF ASSESSING THE LABOR POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and detailed analysis of methodological and practical aspects of assessing the labor potential of agricultural enterprises. It is noted that this process is a key element of the HR management system, as it allows you to determine the current level, trends and prospects for human resources development, increase the effectiveness of personnel policy and the competitiveness of the organization. Assessing labor potential is a complex, multifactorial and multifaceted process that requires an integrated approach. Its feature is to take into account not only quantitative, but also qualitative characteristics of personnel - from already realized abilities to hidden development potential. It is proven that effective assessment of labor potential performs a number of strategically important functions, covering all stages of personnel management and contributing to the formation of a systemic approach to the development of labor resources. The main methods of assessing labor potential are described, while the combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches is a guarantee of the reliability of the results and their integration into the overall HR management strategy. It is established that the assessment of labor potential of agricultural enterprises has a pronounced industry specificity, due to the seasonality of production, the influence of natural and climatic factors, the features of technological processes and high requirements for the physical, psychological and professional training of employees. The need for a comprehensive approach is substantiated, taking into account professional, physiological, socio-psychological and managerial parameters, ensuring the objectivity of the assessment and increasing the effectiveness of management decisions. Attention is focused on the fact that the labor potential assessment system should be based on a clear algorithm adapted to modern Ukrainian socio-economic, demographic and security realities, which will contribute to the sustainable development of agricultural enterprises.
