PRINCIPLES OF CLASSIFICATION OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPANY

Abstract

One of the elements of managing the country's economy is the development of informatization of management processes. In today's information space, the use of information systems in management remains relevant. In the market of anagement concepts, which are quite successfully used in companies of different types and sizes and provide effective management, there is a need for such an approach as the classification of management information systems. This will not only position these systems, but also give any company the opportunity to more clearly form a list of strategic and operational management tasks, defining criteria. They are the criteria that allow to optimally achieve the solution of strategic and operational tasks. Changes in the conditions of production, the need for adequate adaptation of the management system to it, contribute not only to the improvement of its organization, but also require a redistribution of management functions according to the level of responsibility, forms of their interaction. The article considers the basic principles of the management concept, which are used quite successfully in companies of different types and sizes and provide effective management in the approach to the classification of management information systems. This not only allows the positioning of systems, but also gives every company the opportunity to more clearly form a list of strategic and operational management tasks, defining criteria that contribute to the optimal achievement of these tasks. Levels of management in the generalized model of management of the company are considered. The classifications of software for the creation of management information systems are analyzed, and they should be based on the classification of business tasks – i.e. on the definition of the hierarchy of levels of management of the company. After all, awareness of the management cycle is extremely important for further classification of systems. Proposals for the methodology of creating management information systems are given, and it contains a number of general statements that will be considered in the future.
