LOGISTICS SUPPORT OF FOREIGN TRADE OPERATIONS IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article analyses the conditions of logistic support of foreign trade operations in modern conditions, highlights the factors that have a direct impact on the formation of the supply chain. It is substantiated that logistic support of foreign trade operations includes planning, coordination and control of all processes related to the movement of goods from the supplier to the recipient. The market of transport and logistics services is an important part of the Ukrainian economy, since logistics is the "blood artery" for the delivery of products from the manufacturer to the consumer. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Ukrainian companies and their foreign partners faced the need to make decisions quickly. It is determined that in the conditions of the changing present, domestic enterprises should quickly respond to changes in the external environment, using the concept of rapid response, the use of which is primarily due to the increase in the number of complicated requests in the market, which are difficult to predict. The basis of this concept is a clear focus on the collection, monitoring and analysis of information on actual purchases at the places of their implementation, and not only on the results of forecasting market development. Only timely and up-to-date data can be an adequate basis for building a logistics system for manufacturers of goods and suppliers and the formation of appropriate strategies. The ability to actively manage any risks at all stages of the movement of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer is a crucial factor influencing the level of competitiveness of products and the company as a whole. At the moment, it is the ability to predict events and minimize possible risks that is a key criterion for assessing the level of business efficiency. The need to improve transport infrastructure, simplify customs procedures, provide assistance to logistics companies and ensure the safety and integrity of goods during their transportation is determined. This is due to the importance of logistics development in Ukraine to increase the efficiency of foreign trade operations, attract foreign investment and improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies in the world market.
