THE IMPACT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND RESOURCES ON PSYCHOLOGICAL SECURITY IN TERMS OF PANDEMIC
Abstract
The study investigates the impact of information technology on psychological security during the COVID-19 pandemic. Modern enterprises have automated management systems, and use one or more specialized programs for accounting, calculation and preparation reporting. Initially, the importance of information technology and its impact on the enterprise was analyzed, particularly the effect of using online platforms. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and strict quarantine measures, website development, business process computerization, consulting, digital marketing and the use of video conferencing increased because of such platforms as Zoom, BigTech, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Furthermore, the definition of psychological, information and psychological security was given. Psychological security is an element of the economic security of the enterprise, which provides a normal level of wages, a healthy psychological climate in the enterprise, the absence of corruption and fraud, the motivated attitude of employees to work. Information and psychological security mean the state of protection of a group of citizens or individuals from negative information and psychological threats, objects of influence. The components of psychological security at the enterprise such as the level of compensation and psychological climate were described. An algorithm for the safe use of information technology and online resources during the quarantine period was also proposed: to train media literacy workers. This is supposed to assist entrepreneurs to recognize facts from fake news, in order not to be manipulated. Training of employees in online tools, use of video content, use of modern online platforms; improve the level of socialization with the help of online soft skills training; research on the psychological health of employees and the psychological climate. Establishing the mental health service in the teams, which should consist of experienced psychologists to ensure the psychological safety of the individual, was proposed. Moreover, were proposed different measures for psychological safety ensuring such as increasing the level of wages, automation of work process, providing staff with office equipment.
