ANALYSIS OF THE NEWEST TECHNOLOGIES, METHODS AND APPROACHES IN LOGISTICS, THEIR IMPACT ON SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION AND INCREASE OF PRODUCTIVITY

Abstract

The article presents a detailed study that emphasizes the importance of digital technologies in the field of transport and logistics processes. Analyzing the model of the maturity cycle of technological innovations, the author of the article determines the key stages of the development of innovations and their impact on the logistics industry. The author explores various aspects of the implementation of high-tech solutions, in particular, robotic Goods-to-person (G2P) systems and technologies for "Last mile" delivery, which provide an efficient connection between applications and vehicles, increasing productivity and reducing costs. It also examines the role of the Internet of Things, BigData, artificial intelligence and machine learning in the development of the industry, which is expected to attract investment from a large part of the world's logistics operators. The article highlights the imperative of digital transformation for logistics enterprises, despite challenges such as limited funding, staff skills and lack of strategic planning. The author argues that investments in modernization and the introduction of the latest technologies are critically important for the development, competitiveness and improvement of the economic efficiency of companies. The article proves that modern technologies, such as robotic process automation, blockchain and the Internet of Things, have the potential to radically optimize logistics processes, reducing costs and increasing productivity; it is proposed to actively implement innovative solutions in the field of logistics to solve the urgent tasks of the industry and increase its efficiency in the conditions of globalization and growing competition. Practical recommendations for enterprises regarding the implementation and use of modern technologies and methods in logistics to optimize supply chains and increase productivity have been determined.
