PRIORITY MEASURES TO INCREASE THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF THE FUNCTIONING OF SE "ZHYTOMYR SCIENTIFIC AND PRODUCTION CENTER FOR STANDARDIZATION, METROLOGY AND CERTIFICATION"

Abstract

It was determined that improving the efficiency of using material and non-material resources in order to strengthen the market position of the enterprise is currently the main problem of any enterprise. The analysis of the indicators of the company's financial and economic activity for 2021 showed that the net income from the implementation of works and services for the year is UAH 17,274.0 thousand, which is 41% more than planned. 69% of the total net income is metrological works (11,837,000 hryvnias); 9% – certification work (1,577,000 hryvnias); 16% – from product testing (2,900,000 hryvnias); 6% – standardization work (960 thousand UAH). The conducted analysis of the financial and economic activity of the enterprise proved that the amount of net income for 2021 compared to 2019 increased by UAH 1,851 thousand. In particular, the financial result from operational activity increased by UAH 58 thousand. The net profit of the enterprise increased by UAH 110,000, which ensured an increase in profitability by 0.2%. The greatest contribution to the growth of economic indicators was provided by metrology services – by UAH 1,730 thousand, standardization by UAH 410 thousand, and certification – by UAH 56 thousand. During the analyzed period, the volume of work on product testing decreased, due to the voluntary certification of products. In order to carry out these works, the scope of accreditation of the calibration laboratory was expanded and new unique equipment was purchased for verification and calibration of artificial lung ventilation devices, incubators for newborns, as well as rotameters for gas environments, etc. were purchased. The main factors and directions for increasing the economic efficiency of production are: the economy regime, increasing the level of use of the main production assets, improving the structure of the economy, optimal investment policy, and others. Bilateral cooperation with European certification centers, renewal of calibration laboratory equipment, expansion of powers according to technical regulations, and development of management system certification areas and improvement of the material and technical base, which determines the subject of further scientific research, should be promising directions of economic development of SE "Zhytomyrstandartmetrologiya".
