ORGANIZATION OF TOURIST SAFETY DURING EXCURSIONS USING DIGITAL TOOLS
Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of organizing tourist safety during excursion activities in the modern conditions of tourism industry development. It has been determined that ensuring tourist safety is one of the key components of high-quality excursion services and an important factor in forming a positive image of a tourism enterprise. The main risks arising during excursions are analyzed, including transport, natural, technogenic, sanitary-epidemiological, social, and military threats. It has been established that an effective safety system should be based on a comprehensive approach, including safe route planning, risk assessment, safety briefings, monitoring compliance with behavioral rules, and preparing staff for emergency situations. Special attention is paid to the role of the tour guide in ensuring the safety of tourist groups, as the guide is responsible for coordinating tourists’ actions, organizing the route, and responding promptly to potential threats. Modern digital tools for ensuring tourist safety, including GPS navigation, mobile applications, online monitoring systems, and оперативе information tools, are investigated. The necessity of using innovative technologies to improve the efficiency of tourist safety management during excursions is substantiated. The article also identifies the main directions for improving the safety system in the excursion sector, among which an important place belongs to staff qualification improvement, enhancement of regulatory support, and implementation of modern information technologies. It is proven that a systematic approach to safety organization contributes to reducing tourist risks, increasing tourist satisfaction, and forming competitive advantages for tourism enterprises. It is determined that under martial law conditions in Ukraine, the issue of tourist safety becomes especially important, as tourism enterprises must consider risks related to emergencies, air raid alerts, and movement restrictions. It is proven that the implementation of modern safety management mechanisms will contribute to improving the quality of excursion services, strengthening tourist trust, and developing the tourism industry in general.
