STRATEGIC GUIDELINES FOR SHIFTING THE MANAGEMENT PARADIGM IN THE CONTEXT OF ENSURING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY
Abstract
The article examines the transformation of strategic guidelines of the management paradigm in the context of global polycrisis and the transition from the VUCA concept to the BANI-world metric. It is substantiated that the modern architecture of the world order, which is characterized by systemic fragility, anxiety and nonlinearity, requires the rejection of traditional deterministic management models in favor of flexible adaptive systems. The purpose of the work is the theoretical justification and formation of adaptive management tools capable of ensuring the sustainable development of complex socio-economic systems without exhausting their resource potential. In the process of the study, the fundamental shift from the ontology of "prediction and control" to the methodology of "sense and respond" was analyzed. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comparative analysis of the characteristics of linear and adaptive management of sustainable development. It is proven that in the BANI environment, the key drivers of transformation are digital twins, artificial intelligence and big data, which transform the organization's technological stack into the foundation of proactive management. It is established that sustainable development is transformed from a fixed target benchmark into a continuous process of dynamic balancing and evolutionary transformation. Special attention is paid to the transition from rigid KPIs to investments in human capital, psychological safety and social responsibility as tools for reducing systemic tension. A lack of specific tools for the transition from linear to decentralized network structures is identified, which is identified as a promising direction for further exploration. It is proven that the formation of adaptive models with a high level of reflection and the ability to self-learning is an alternative way to ensure institutional resilience. The results of the study can be used to develop industry algorithms for adapting business entities to the conditions of the digital economy and global instability.
