OPTIMIZATION OF EXPORT-IMPORT OPERATIONS: CHALLENGES OF TODAY

Abstract

The article conducts a comprehensive study of theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of optimization of export-import operations of business entities under martial law and intensification of European integration processes. It is substantiated that the foreign economic activity of Ukraine has finally been transformed from a purely commercial plane into a strategic tool of national economic resistance and ensuring macroeconomic stability of the state. Based on the system analysis of indicators of foreign trade, a critical deepening of the imbalance was revealed, characterized by a rapid growth of the negative trade balance. It is substantiated that the effectiveness of foreign economic relations in modern realities depends on the formation of a flexible internal management system capable of modeling in detail the trends of both local and world markets. An optimized management model should take into account not only the current competitive potential of the enterprise, but also its readiness to counteract dynamic risks in a globalized environment. At the strategic level, this implies a clear definition of the motives for participation in the international division of labor, which includes the struggle for foreign investment and the introduction of progressive methods of selling products that have proven their effectiveness in the international arena. For an individual enterprise, the management of export-import operations is transformed into a comprehensive solution of strategic, financial, production and logistics tasks. Particular attention is paid to the concept of integrated compliance monitoring as a mechanism for transforming accounting and analytical systems of enterprises from formal data fixation into proactive strategic compliance management. The role of artificial intelligence as an autonomous architect of foreign trade strategies, capable of analyzing customs codes, currency fluctuations and geopolitical risks in real time, is highlighted. The key areas of optimization are the integration of artificial intelligence to predict market trends and the automation of compliance monitoring, which ensures transparency of operations and compliance with international standards. The transition to a multi-level control system allows enterprises not only to minimize legal risks, but also to strengthen the trust of foreign partners, which is a fundamental condition for European integration.
