METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL STATISTICAL ANALYTICS IN THE STUDY OF COMPLEX ECONOMIC PROCESSES

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study and evaluate methodological approaches to multivariate statistical analytics in order to increase the analytical interpretability of complex economic processes and form a reliable empirical basis for making managerial decisions. The research methodology is based on the application of systemic and structural-logical approaches to the analysis of complex economic processes. The methods of multidimensional statistical analytics, content analysis, as well as generalization and comparison methods were used. The article explores the methodological principles of multivariate statistical analytics in the context of the analysis of complex economic processes characterized by a high level of interdependence, structural heterogeneity and dynamic variability. The feasibility of using multivariate statistical methods as a tool for comprehensive generalization of economic information and identification of hidden patterns in the development of economic systems is substantiated. The methodological limitations of traditional single-factor approaches are identified and their insufficient ability to adequately reflect the complex nature of modern economic processes is proven. Approaches to the selection of statistical methods are systematized depending on the data structure, the nature of the relationships between variables and the analytical goals of the study. The problems of interpreting the results of multivariate analysis and forming logically consistent analytical models based on ensuring their applied relevance are clarified. It has been proven that the use of methodologically consistent tools of multidimensional statistical analytics increases the reliability of analytical conclusions, allows for the correct identification of latent structural relationships between economic variables, and forms a holistic understanding of the internal logic of the functioning of complex economic processes in the context of their dynamic transformation. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed methodological approaches to improve the quality of statistical substantiation of management decisions in the field of economic analysis and forecasting.
