THE IMPACT OF DIGITALIZATION ON THE TRANSFORMATION OF ECONOMIC RELATIONS
Abstract
The article examines the impact of digitalization processes on the transformation of modern economic relations. The key aspects of the introduction of digital technologies into various areas of activity, including medicine, education and science, e-commerce, the financial sector, law, the transport industry, as well as for the organization of production, service and logistics processes of enterprises have been analyzed. It has been established that the main results of digitalization are: automation of production and management processes in the functioning of enterprises; increased transparency and openness of economic transactions; introduction of new forms of employment and digital entrepreneurship; changing the role of the state in regulating the digital economy; increased competition. Particular attention to the integration of advanced digital technologies, such as blockchain, fifth and sixth generation networks, as well as artificial intelligence, into economic processes have been paid. The benefits of digitalization, such as increased productivity, reduced transaction costs, reduced risks associated with cybersecurity, as well as adaptation of the labor market through the introduction of new mechanisms and tools to prevent digital inequality in modern economic conditions have been considered. Areas of activity where blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies are used have been identified. Key trends in the development of augmented (AR) and virtual (VR) reality technologies have been highlighted. The role of state policy in shaping the conditions for regulation and digital development have been assessed. Attention on the main tasks of the National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Ukraine for the period 2021–2030 have been focused. Directions for a comprehensive approach to assessing the degree of modernization of economic relations through accelerating the digitalization of basic business processes with the involvement of human resources in parallel with the use of digital technologies and tools have been proposed.
