RESEARCH INTO THE FORMATION OF THE PRODUCTION ELITE IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY

Abstract

The modern food industry of Ukraine is characterized by stable development, which positively affects the food security of the state. A significant share of food production in the country's GDP ensures food security and a significant share of foreign exchange earnings from exports of products. Large industrial enterprises provide a significant share of products for export, provide a significant number of jobs. Large corporations in Ukraine practice a full production cycle: from growing crop and livestock products to their full processing. At the same time, the food industry has the lowest wages among the sectors of the economy, which negatively affects the development trends of the industry, in particular, low material motivation of personnel compared to other sectors of the economy does not contribute to the development of labor productivity and improvement of product quality, as well as the attraction of qualified personnel. The purpose of the article is to study the formation of the production elite of the food industry of Ukraine, which has developed in the conditions of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. The study used the method of generalization (analysis of the share of food exports), comparison (estimating wages by sectors of the economy), systematization (evaluating the problems of the production elite of the food industry of Ukraine), etc. The study used scientific developments of domestic and foreign scientists, statistical and analytical information from the State Service of Ukraine, Opendatabot, Jooble, Forbes Ukraine, NEWFOOD, leading food enterprises of Ukraine, etc. The article examines the dynamics of the share of food industry products in exports, determines the growth rates of production in 2024, considers the rating of the largest food industry producers, analyzes the development trends and care for the personnel of the largest food enterprises, examines the level of wages in the industry compared to other sectors of the economy, and suggests directions for improving the formation of the production elite of the food industry of Ukraine. The results of the study emphasize the importance of analyzing the formation of the production elite of the food industry of Ukraine.
