ECO-TOURISM DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN UKRAINE
Abstract
Modern global problems of humanity demand for natural resources effective development of rural areas, directions for increasing the competitiveness of domestic rural green tourism, advantages of creating an innovative cluster model for the development of regions are studied. The territory of Ukraine is quite diverse and meets the recreation needs of not only local residents, but also foreign tourists. The article, examines the problems of tourism development in Ukraine in the conditions of martial law and the transformation, of the tourism industry in the future, as well as the development of ecological tourism. Rural tourism involves acquainting the tourist with the peculiarities of traditional culture. Ecological tourism is a type of cognitive tourism. Such tourism provides an opportunity to observe natural objects, get acquainted with the life of living nature, study the relationships of living organisms, and carry out environmental protection measures. The tourist attractions and participants of the "Camino Podolico: Podolsky Way of St. Jacob" project, which is implemented by the Bar City Council in partnership with the Vinnytsia City Council, as well as the territorial communities of the Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions and the State Tourism Development Agency of Ukraine, were analyzed. At the current stage, it is necessary to direct one's activities, as far as possible, to create favorable conditions for the restoration of the physical and spiritual forces. It should be noted that the "Tourism Development Program in Vinnytsia Region for 2020-2027" provides for the implementation of a set of measures to improve the management system of the tourism industry the creation and improvement of the regulatory and legal framework for tourism activities, the modernization of the existing material and technical base the preservation and restoration of historical and architectural monuments of the spiritual culture of the people, representation of the region at all-Ukrainian and international tourist exhibitions, creation of conditions for the development of rural green tourism.
