THE CURRENT STATE OF THE LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE BORDER REGIONS IN THE CONDITIONS OF WARTIME
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state, determination of trends and prospects for the development of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions of Ukraine in wartime conditions. The relevance of the research is determined by the importance of the transport and logistics systems of the border regions in the context of ensuring national security. The purpose of the study is to diagnose the current state, identify existing vulnerabilities and problems, define key goals and provide recommendations for the development of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions of Ukraine. The conducted research is based on the use of such methods as: synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison, analysis, abstraction and concretization, combination of historical and logical, etc. According to the results of the conducted research, the key negative consequences of the impact of the full-scale russian invasion on the state and development of the logistics industry were determined. The analysis of the modern state of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions in wartime conditions was carried out. The main problems, vulnerabilities, and potential threats to the functioning of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions in wartime conditions have been identified. Among them are the shortage of highly qualified personnel, the destruction of logistical communication routes and logistics facilities, the high level of danger of logistics operations in concrete regions, the reduction of the fleet of vehicles due to their complete destruction and damage, the reduction of the capacity of individual border checkpoints, the insufficient level of investment support and low rates of innovation implementation. The trends of transformation and development of transport and logistics systems of the border regions are defined. The priority directions for the development of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions of Ukraine are outlined. The factors affecting the level of national security within the limits of the functioning of the logistics infrastructure of the border regions are identified. Recommendations on the implementation of state policy in the field of transport and logistics in wartime conditions are provided: ensuring the security of logistics chains, creating favorable conditions for the functioning of the national logistics system and its adaptability to modern challenges.
