BUSINESS ANALYTICS AS A DATA PROCESSING TOOL
Abstract
Business intelligence is an increasingly important area for organisations looking to compete in the marketplace and improve the efficiency of their business processes. Business intelligence allows organisations to collect, analyse and interpret large amounts of data to gain valuable insights for making informed decisions. This article provides a comprehensive overview of business intelligence as a data processing tool. Key concepts and terms, as well as methodologies and tools used in the process of data analysis, are discussed. The benefits of applying business intelligence in an organisation, such as improving the efficiency of business processes, reducing risks and supporting informed decision-making, are described. Possible challenges are analysed, including data quality, data security, integration of data from different sources, and effective communication of data analysis results between specialists and non-technical employees. Practical recommendations for the implementation of business intelligence in an organisation are provided, including defining strategic goals, assessing the current state, selecting appropriate tools and methodologies, training and developing specialists, and ensuring continuous improvement of business intelligence processes. The author considers the prospects for the development of business intelligence in the context of rapid changes in technology and market conditions. In particular, trends in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data that may affect the development of business intelligence in the future are discussed.
