DEFINITIONS OF BUSINESS SCALING IN THE CONDITIONS OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of studying the multifaceted nature of the concept of "business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity". The author examines the main positions of foreign and domestic scholars and practitioners regarding the interpretation of the concept of business scaling and business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity. The purpose of the article is to study the essence of the concept of business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity, its role and importance for the harmonious development of the national economy. The research methods used are morphological analysis, synthesis and analysis. Considering the essence of scaling in the framework of economic theory, management theory. The interpretation of the concept of "business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity" is systematized by the spheres of its application. Based on a review of domestic and foreign literature, a comprehensive definition of the concept of "business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity" is proposed. The key objectives of business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity and the benefits of its implementation by domestic enterprises are determined. Business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity is the expansion of business in quantitative (increasing the range of products, services, works, diversification of activities, expanding the geography of foreign economic activity, etc.) or qualitative (optimization of business processes, increasing the efficiency of marketing, sales and other activities, introduction and active further application of new technologies and innovations) plans, the key goal of which is to increase sales, market presence, influence of the enterprise. Business scaling in the context of foreign economic activity is especially important in the digital, digitalized era, as the Internet provides unlimited opportunities for expansion, attracting new customers, and erasing geographical restrictions. This will greatly facilitate the process of business scaling.
