INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF RESTAURANT ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article is devoted to the issues of management of restaurant enterprises in the conditions of using information technologies. The purpose of the article is to study information technology in the management of restaurants. The purpose, goals and objectives of automation of business processes of restaurants are defined. It is established that the restaurant industry combines such business processes as supply, production and sales. The trade (according to which accounting in accordance with this method is conducted similarly to the accounting of goods in trade enterprises) and production (according to which the calculation of the cost of finished products is carried out as in industrial enterprises) approaches to accounting in establishments of restaurant economy are characterized. The advantages of the basic software intended for accounting at the enterprises of restaurant economy are resulted. It is determined that there is a software program that should be used in restaurants: POS-system "Poster", "R-Keeper", "1C: Enterprise 8. Restaurant", the main software program RRO "SOTA Kasa", "Cashalot", that allow to structure all process of activity of the business entity, to provide protection of the confidential information, to save the data by means of a backup copy, to minimize expenses of means owing to use of technological resources of small power. The advantages of the main software products intended for accounting at the enterprises of restaurant economy are given, as: maintenance of accounting of all economic operations; ensuring the formation of accurate data; optimization of working hours of accounting staff; cost optimization; control of personnel performance indicators; calculation of equipment maintenance costs. Peculiarities of application of registrars of settlement operations and software registrars of settlement operations at restaurant enterprises are investigated. The advantages of using software registrars of settlement operations are revealed, such as: convenience in fulfilling the requirements of the norms of the current legislation; optimization of costs for cash registers and their maintenance; integration with accounting systems in order to fiscalize checks; ability to store electronic fiscal checks
