CHARACTERISTICS OF ENSURING ECONOMIC SECURITY IN THE SYSTEM OF INCREASING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE STATE
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the provision of economic security of the state in the system of increasing competitiveness in the international arena. The importance of studying the key aspects of ensuring the economic security of the state in the system of increasing the level of competitiveness is proved. The current stage in the development of the world economy is marked by the transition from an industrial to a post-industrial society, the basis of which is information and knowledge that have a decisive influence on the level of development of security. New knowledge is transformed into new technologies with the help of innovation, which covers all spheres of society and creates the prerequisites for replacing labor with knowledge. Thus, a transition is being made to the so-called knowledge economy, "which creates, disseminates and uses knowledge to accelerate its own growth and increase competitiveness." The foundation of the economic security of the state is a combination of high technologies, high-quality education and qualified human capital, designed to ensure the creation and implementation of innovations from the inception of an idea to its practical implementation. In the context of global international competition and an increase in the number of subjects of scientific and technical rivalry, it is constant innovation that becomes a necessary condition for the survival of both large and small companies. The process of applying innovations can be continuous, otherwise there is an irreversible curtailment of production for a particular company, a particular industry. A stop in the innovative development of security leads to huge financial losses, since survival in the market is possible under the condition of continuous innovation both in the structure of the production of goods and in the technology of their production. It has been determined that the economic security of the state is one of the most important components of national security, because it becomes a solid foundation for maintaining the country's identity, its historical and cultural heritage. Key indicators have been established within the framework of the economic development of Ukraine, which affect the increase in the level of competitiveness of the state. The dynamics of indicators influencing the security environment in the framework of increasing the level of competitiveness is presented. A scheme of the main aspects of increasing the level of competitiveness of the state economy through security measures has been formed.
