THE INFLUENCE OF FIN TECH ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FINANCIAL MARKET OF UKRAINE
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the influence of digital technologies on the functioning and development of the financial market of Ukraine in modern conditions. The main stages of the influence of digital technologies on the development of the financial market, which stand out in world practice, have been established. On the basis of theoretical developments of scientists, approaches to the interpretation of the concept of financial technologies are highlighted. It was determined that the main feature of the modern development of the financial market is the widespread introduction of FinTech innovations and the appearance of new players on this market – FinTech companies that use technological developments and specialized software to provide financial services. The changes that occurred with the introduction of quarantine restrictions and martial law in Ukraine were analyzed. The main directions and composition of digitalization of the financial market of Ukraine are characterized, in particular, neobanking, blockchain, financial ecosystems, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence and machine learning, Open banking and others. The current state of activity of fintech companies in the financial market of Ukraine is studied, since it is difficult to imagine the economic well-being of the state without modernization of processes in the financial market, which are able to ensure smooth interaction between all representatives of the economic system. In particular, with the aim of determining the current state of activity of fintech companies on the financial market, an analysis of fintech activities on the financial market of Ukraine was carried out, the distribution of fintech companies according to their spheres of activity on the domestic financial market was established, the sources of financing of fintech companies on the financial market of Ukraine were determined, presented the markets in which fintech companies of Ukraine operate, the most widely used technologies of fintech companies in the financial market were determined, neobanks operating in the financial market of Ukraine were compared, and the share of the digital economy in the GDP of Ukraine was determined. The strengths and weaknesses of the introduction of digital technologies in the financial market of Ukraine have been established and, on this basis, the prospects and risks of the influence of digital technologies on the development of the financial market of Ukraine have been determined.
