PROBLEMS OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITY OF AGRIBUSINESS IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and practical problems of researching the investment activity of agribusiness in Ukraine, taking into account the harsh realities of the Russian full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine, analyzes the importance of the research topic in the system of scientific research, establishes its relevance at the current stage of technological development of the modern economy. The authors proposed practical directions for improving the investment activity of agribusiness in Ukraine as an important component of the development of the national economy, especially at the time of martial law, and at the time of the post-war reconstruction of the state's economic system, which will always be the object of close attention of scientists and the main subjects of investment activity in Ukraine and beyond, taking into account the global nature of the development of international trade relations in the world economy. The purpose of the study is to assess the current dynamics of investment activity in the agricultural sector of the national economy, identify existing problems in this area, and justify important directions of state and private policy aimed at the activation of investment processes in agribusiness. In the article, the author summarizes the goals of ensuring the investment activity of agribusiness in Ukraine both at the international, state, and private levels. In the opinion of the author, the following goals should be: improving the legal framework for agribusiness support, establishing tax benefits and state grants, creating institutions and funds to support agribusiness investment activities in Ukraine, creating a system of reproducing and improving the fertility of soils, especially those that have suffered as a result of war actions; further encouragement by the state to ensure food security at the national level; social protection and provision of real living conditions of the rural population, where the main workforce of agricultural producers mainly lives; development of the social sphere of rural settlements and modernization of their infrastructure adapted to modern realities.
