DIGITALIZATION OF UKRAINE'S ECONOMY IN THE CONDITIONS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION PROCESSES
Abstract
The article reveals the key aspects of the digitalization of the economy of Ukraine in the conditions of the European integration processes from the standpoint of the practical aspect. It was revealed that during the transition of the economy to digitalization, traditional business principles and norms established for information technologies, marketing complexes, accounting and management systems undergo significant changes. It was determined that digitalization of the economy allows: optimizing business processes; create new products and services thanks to the technologies of the Internet of Things, virtual reality, cloud services and artificial intelligence; to save money by saving personnel thanks to the automation and robotization of business processes, etc.; to offer completely new business solutions. It has been established that an important tool for the digitalization of Ukraine's economy in the context of European integration processes is participation in the "Digital Europe" program, which is aimed at accelerating the economic recovery and digital transformation of Europe. It was found that project financing under the Digital Europe program works in five main directions: high-performance computing; artificial intelligence, data and cloud services; advanced digital technologies; ensuring wide use of digital technologies in business and society; cyber security (only for EU member states). The share of the digital economy in Ukraine's GDP is analyzed. The measures that need to be implemented in the framework of ensuring a smooth process of digitalization of the economy are highlighted. It is established that in the long-term perspective of the digitalization of the economy (2026-2032), Ukraine can focus on building a reliable data infrastructure to measure the digital economy to support evidence-based strategies. It was established that despite the state of war, the digital transformation and development of the digital economy in Ukraine continues and is being updated. It was found that in the conditions of digitization of the business economy, it is necessary to invest significant funds in the development and creation of digital platforms, and the relevant areas of business management should be cooperation and convergence, cyber security, digital competence and the development of the necessary digital skills.
