ENSURING FOOD SECURITY OF THE STATE IN THE CONDITIONS OF MILITARY OPERATIONS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the development of measures to ensure food security of the state under martial law. The relevance of the study lies in the need to develop measures aimed at ensuring food security of Ukraine in the conditions of martial law. The purpose of the article is to develop measures for the production and processing of products of the agro-industrial complex aimed at ensuring food security of Ukraine under martial law. In the research process, a set of general scientific and special methods was used: economic analysis – when determining the volumes of export-import operations by food groups; analysis and synthesis – when combining the constituent economic phenomena in a single process; graphic – with a visual display of individual indicators of development; grouping – when the efficiency of management of agricultural processing enterprises depends on the implementation of modernization measures; deductive – during the theoretical understanding of the problem and clarification of individual concepts; inductive – when collecting, systematizing and processing information. The obtained results include a set of measures in the agro-industrial sector of the economy of Ukraine aimed at ensuring the food security of the state in the conditions of martial law. The need for the development of environmentally efficient technologies for growing agricultural products is substantiated. The state of export-import operations by types of agro-food products was studied. There is a well-founded need to modernize processing enterprises with the aim of reducing the cost of production of the main products and partial self-sufficiency with alternative energy carriers. The prospect of using digestate in agriculture to ensure an increase in the yield of agricultural crops, which will make it possible to reduce the cost of their cultivation, has been proven. The necessity of subsidizing personal peasant farms that keep 2 or more cows, as well as the development of small agricultural processing enterprises in rural areas in order to provide the local population with food at moderate prices, has been proven.
