PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF THE FORMATION OF LOGISTICS SUPPLY CHAINS DURING THE WAR PERIOD UNDER THE CONDITION OF ACTIVATING EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

Abstract

This study is aimed at considering the features, tasks, problems and prospects of the formation of logistics supply chains during the war period in the conditions of the activation of European integration. The authors of the study considered the essence of the formation and management of supply chains, highlighted the main problems of the formation of logistics supply chains in the wartime period, the main tasks of material and technical support, prospects for the formation of logistics chains in the conditions of European integration, insurance of logistics risks. It also describes the experience of successful logistics business structures, and provides recommendations for improving logistics processes in wartime conditions. Under conditions of intensification of European integration, the value and importance of forming optimal logistics supply chains is growing, especially during wartime. If in peacetime manufacturers competed and fought for suppliers, during the war there were more suppliers, because they moved from other regions. Of course, the costs of companies have increased, because inventories have increased, production productivity has decreased, some production facilities are forced to relocate, there is a delay in the shipment of goods, etc. Now companies face problems that cannot be avoided, they just need to find new sales channels and build new logistics schemes with limited time and resources. The war created complications and additional problems for the logistics process, but also helped to reveal the shortcomings of this industry: large-scale warehouses only in certain areas, laying routes near strategic infrastructure facilities, etc. Logistics will become better every day, because the current situation requires it. It is worth emphasizing that the process of restoring logistics will be long, but positive changes are already taking place, consisting in the reduction of the issuance of permits for the transportation of goods, the opening of additional checkpoints, the creation of electronic queues for drivers, the state's assistance in facilitating cargo transportation, and the cancellation of strict delivery schedules. Ukraine has great potential for rebuilding and diversifying the logistics system and infrastructure under conditions of intensification of European integration.
