FORMATION OF A LOKAL STRATAP ECOSYSTEM
Abstract
The article is devoted to the development of startups as a driver of innovation and socio-economic development. Analysis of scientific achievements in the field of innovative entrepreneurship and startups has shown that the implementation of best practices in the development of startup ecosystem is just beginning to spread. That is why the urgent need during the formation of a local startup ecosystem is to determine the factors of influence and its participants. The article identifies the importance of startups and their difference from small businesses. Distinctive features of small business from a startup: innovation; Solution for the problem; self-financing in the early stages and, mainly, creation from scratch; search for ideal products / markets, market gaps; focus on change (world, methods of doing business, product, market, technology, etc.); small number of employees; focus on maximum growth; entrepreneurial behavior is aimed at strategic development, generation of ideas, rather than operational management; creating a new business model that is scalable and profitable. Foreign experience in supporting startups at the local level (region, city) has been studied and factors influencing the development of local startup ecosystems have been identified. Understanding the startup ecosystem is based on a coenological approach that allows us to interpret it as a set of interacting institutions that ensure the sustainable development of startups. A model of a local startup ecosystem is formed and its participants are described, which include local authorities, as well as structures belonging to the territorial community; advisory and controlling bodies related to the functioning of the business; educational and scientific institutions, which, including, have their own formations to promote the development of innovations; business support institutions (business incubators, accelerators); associations of employers, business and the public, whose activities are aimed at mutual sustainable development (clusters, public organizations, contractual and legal associations); operating business; investors and financial institutions.
