CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR BUSINESS AS BASIS FOR PROVISION OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES: EUROPEAN INTEGRATION ASPECT
Abstract
The article is devoted to topical issues in the field of corporate social responsibility as a factor in ensuring business activity and its development in Ukraine in modern realities. The main manifestations of social responsibility in corporate ethics are outlined and its influence on the efficiency of economic entities through increasing their business activity is revealed. To achieve this goal, a comparative method based on the analysis of statistical information was used to assess the application of European practice in Ukrainian business and the standards approved by the European Union's programming documents. The level of social responsibility of Ukrainian enterprises and their ways to increase business activity through the formation of a positive image of the company, increase the reputation and strong relationships with customers and partners. The urgency of attracting social responsibility during an emergency situation, namely war is also analyzed. The main areas of business that have restructured their budgets to allocate funds for social problems during martial law are highlighted. Recommendations for the implementation of the European model of social responsibility in accordance with the values and characteristics of Ukrainian society have been developed. The advantages received by both enterprises and society are synthesized. A mechanism has been identified to improve the level of social responsibility that is being implemented by increasing economic freedom and reducing corruption. The main priority measures for the development of social responsibility in Ukraine are concepts such as state promotion of the importance of social responsibility, creation of a state fund and raising funds from local budgets, providing various tax benefits and moral incentives for entrepreneurs, introduction of mandatory social reporting at the national level. companies that can place shares on stock exchanges, participate in government tenders, etc. Also, the introduction of mandatory initiatives that would constantly draw public attention to social issues, both environmental and humanitarian.
