ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE AND PROSPECTS OF THE ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the method of assessing the competitiveness of an economic entity through its resource potential. The definition of "enterprise competitiveness" based on the analysis of indicators of economic and production-technical functioning of the enterprise is theoretically substantiated. It is proved that in modern business conditions it is necessary to regularly assess the competitiveness of the enterprise. Emphasis is placed on the variety of methods and techniques for assessing competitiveness, which depend on the purpose and subjects of the study, as well as the ability to obtain the necessary source information. Ensuring its competitiveness, any company performs the main strategic task – outlines the prospects for sustainable development. It is pointed out that the level of competitiveness of products and enterprises is determined by a large number of factors. Despite this, the main and determining of them is the ability of the company to produce competitive products and create conditions for its promotion on the market. The efficiency of enterprises in market conditions involves the active search and development of each of them 's own strategy to increase competitiveness. The interest of the business entity in obtaining high production results explains the growing need to increase the competitiveness of products. And this will continue to require improving the working methods of all services and departments of the enterprise. We believe that competitiveness should be understood as ensuring the economic security of the enterprise, its ability to survive in the "harsh reality" and its ability to further stability and effective development. The problem of enterprise competitiveness management remains relevant, because due to lack of modern management skills in the field of economics and management, the practical use of methods of assessing competitiveness and mechanisms for developing competitive strategies are not always effective. Monitoring the competitive environment allows you to identify areas to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise.
