Abstract

Generations change generations. Changes following the formation of a new generation are striking. First of all, this concerns their behavior and its consequences for society, ecology and... employers. Scientists N. Khow, V. Shtraus, based on previous theoretical studies and their own, conducted in America, were able to summarize available information on the theory of generations and expand it, supporting facts and practices. That is why in the scientific substantiation of their method, you will not doubt. Currently, their system with the theory of "generations" are enjoying worldwide: from psychologists to marketers. After all, it is a convenient tool for creating groups, first of all by age. And given that each generation has a common model of behavior, characteristic of him, is not similar to the model of his parents, nor on the model of their own children, it helps in the understanding of psychological incentives of representatives of this generation, their interests, desires, etc. Such data is helped by employers in attracting and preserving staff resources, because the theory of "generations" gives an understanding of what motivational mesh is suitable for a particular generation that incentives are most effective, which conditions need to be ensured for effective results from this generation. At present, the next generation is generation Z. Fast Company reports that according to forecasts, by 2020, the number of generation Zs will be 40% of the total population. And to avoid previous errors (as with generations of Millennials), it is necessary to prepare in advance before their arrival. Studies that formed the basis of the article will help employers in Ukraine and abroad, understand the new generation and obtain the commitment to his representatives, their loyalty, which will become the basis for effective and fruitful labor. Generation Z is as unique as any of the generations. That is why it requires the study and use of a special approach. Advice based on the theory of "generations" helps to understand the factors and circumstances that led to its formation, as well as the peculiarities of interaction with other generations. Thus, we can make the most of the potential of the studied generation and achieve synergies from interaction with other generations.
