MANAGEMENT OF THE MOTIVATION OF EMPLOYEES OF AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISES IN THE CONDITIONS OF INSTABILITY OF THE ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and practical foundations of managing the motivation of employees of agricultural enterprises in the conditions of an unstable economic environment. The relevance of the study is due to inflation, labor shortages, migration, market volatility, logistical disruptions and uncertainty of financial results, which reduce the effectiveness of traditional approaches to personnel incentives. It is substantiated that motivation in the agricultural sector should be considered not only as a component of human resources management, but also as a strategic factor affecting labor productivity, staff loyalty, labor discipline, and enterprise competitiveness. The article proves that only material stimulation is not enough in modern conditions. Special attention is paid to the specifics of agricultural production, including seasonality of work, dependence on natural and climatic conditions, uneven workload during production cycles, territorial dispersion of workplaces, limited access to qualified labor in rural areas. The study shows that the most effective model for agrarian business enterprises is an adaptive complex motivation system that combines economic, organizational and socio-psychological incentives. Economic incentives include wages, bonuses, bonuses, and social benefits. Organizational incentives include training, professional development, safe working conditions, flexible schedules, and transparent performance evaluation.Socio-psychological incentives include recognition, respect, communication, teamwork, employee participation in decision-making, and a supportive organizational climate. Priority directions for improving motivation management have been identified: flexible pay systems, individualization of motivational programs, development of non-material incentives, strengthening of internal communication, formation of personnel reserve programs. The practical value of applying these recommendations for increasing labor productivity, reducing staff turnover, strengthening personnel potential, and increasing the efficiency of enterprise activity in conditions of economic instability.
