INTEGRATING RESILIENCE INTO THE MECHANISM FOR ENSURING THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF AN ENTERPRISE

Abstract

Modern enterprises operate in an unstable economic environment characterized by growing uncertainty, multifactorial risks, and the impact of external shocks. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to increase the resilience of organizations and develop effective economic security mechanisms capable of not only countering threats, but also adapting and recovering from crisis impacts. The purpose of the article is to provide a theoretical justification for integrating resilience into the economic security mechanism of an enterprise and to develop a conceptual management model that combines risk-oriented, adaptive, and preventive approaches. To achieve this goal, systemic and analytical approaches, methods of structural modeling, assessment of financial and operational stability, and quality of management processes were used. The results of the study allow us to identify four key components of resilience integration: adaptability, management flexibility, recoverability, and preventive mechanisms. It has been found that their interaction creates a cyclical effect of management processes, where risk assessment forms the basis for the transformation of strategies and operational decisions, and preventive measures reduce the likelihood of critical situations. The proposed conceptual model demonstrates that the synthesis of risk-oriented, adaptive, and preventive blocks provides comprehensive protection against threats and simultaneously contributes to the long-term sustainability, operational adaptation, and competitiveness of the enterprise. The practical value of the study lies in the possibility of applying the model to improve the effectiveness of internal control, optimize management and financial processes, monitor risks, and ensure the strategic sustainability of the enterprise in changing conditions of economic and social uncertainty. The approach allows a transition from a traditional reactive management system to a proactive one, focused on continuous development and ensuring stability of operations, which is especially important in times of military and economic crises, digital transformation, and unstable market conditions.
