FORMATION OF EFFECTIVE DEPARTMENTS IN B2B COMPANIES BASED ON TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND AI-BASED SOLUTIONS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of approaches to the formation of effective departments in B2B companies under conditions of digital transformation. The research focuses on transformational leadership as a modern management concept that ensures organizational coherence, strategic alignment, and effective interdepartmental interaction. The theoretical foundations of transformational leadership are analyzed, and its distinguishing features compared to transactional and service-oriented leadership styles are identified. Particular attention is paid to typical organizational dysfunctions in B2B companies, including functional duplication, blurred areas of responsibility, communication gaps, and managerial overload, which negatively affect operational efficiency and decision-making quality. The article substantiates the role of artificial intelligence as a supporting tool for transformational leaders in managing interdepartmental processes. Artificial intelligence is considered as an analytical and coordination mechanism that enables the identification of bottlenecks in information flows, forecasting communication failures, automating task generation, and monitoring key performance indicators in real time. At the same time, the study emphasizes the importance of organizational readiness, data quality, ethical standards, and leadership culture for the effective implementation of AI-based solutions. As a result, a conceptual model of integrated transformational management with AI support is proposed. The model is based on the interaction of five interrelated components: vision and valuable final product, organizational architecture, flow-based management system, AI modules, and organizational culture and learning. The proposed model can be used as a methodological framework for improving management practices in B2B companies and may serve as a basis for further empirical research aimed at assessing its practical effectiveness in different business sectors.
