FORMATION OF THE INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF AN ENTERPRISE IN THE CONTEXT OF AN EXPORT-ORIENTED STRATEGY FOR ENSURING THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY: THEORETICAL APPROACHES
Abstract
The article is devoted to a theoretical study of the impact of an export-oriented strategy for ensuring the economic security of the national economy on the formation of an enterprise’s innovation potential. The relevance of the study is determined by the practical need for domestic enterprises to ensure their current activity and innovative development in conditions of political and economic uncertainty and increased military risks. For this purpose, it might be important to consider general security policy of the national economy and its export-oriented strategy for formation of the innovative potential of an enterprise. The study involved the use of the following methods and research techniques: analysis and synthesis were used to identify and summarise the key characteristics of the innovative potential of enterprise, the economic security of the national economy and the export-oriented strategy of the state; methodological techniques of generalisation, systematisation and classification were used to determine the main factors affecting innovative potential and to identify the key components of national economic security; the preparation of analytical and summarised tables involved the use of the formalisation method; the method of scientific abstraction was used throughout the study, because it was aimed to analyse theoretical aspects; a systematic approach, hypothetical-deductive method and generalisation were used to characterise the impact of an export-oriented strategy for ensuring economic security on the formation of an enterprise’s innovative potential. The theoretical justification is based on a review of current scientific theoretical and practical studies. As a result of the study, the essential characteristics of the innovative potential of an enterprise were analysed, a list of the main structural components was outlined, and a number of factors influencing its formation were summarised. Summarisation of key approaches to defining the category of “economic security of the national economy” was conducted, and its main external and internal components were identified and summarised. Specific components of an export-oriented strategy for ensuring the economic security of the state were identified. At the theoretical level, the impact of an export-oriented strategy for ensuring economic security on the formation of an enterprise’s innovation potential has been determined and systematised. The practical value of this study lies in the theoretical justification, generalisation and systematisation of the impact of an export-oriented strategy for the economic security of the state on the formation of an enterprise’s innovation potential.
