PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS PROCESSES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC ENTITIES: FACTORS AND THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO STRATEGY
Abstract
The article is devoted to the topical issues of researching the theoretical and methodological foundations of project management of business processes of sustainable development of economic entities, taking into account modern challenges and factors of influence. The necessity of integrating the project approach into the strategizing of business processes of sustainable development is substantiated, which is due to the growing role of environmental, social and institutional requirements for the functioning of economic entities. A theoretical and methodological approach to the formation of sustainable development guidelines based on the integration of ESG principles, system and process approaches and conceptual approaches to the use and creation of an integrated approach based on the integration of sustainable development and project management concepts into modern activity models, modification of traditional project management methodologies through the inclusion of ESG criteria, monitoring and evaluation, which ensures increased adaptability, innovation and effectiveness of management decisions. The need to formalize sustainable development business processes on repetitive monitoring processes, reporting on sustainability indicators, using Agile approaches to adapt to regulatory requirements and environmental challenges, and establishing (KPIs) key indicators of sustainable development effectiveness at the project and business process levels is substantiated. Approaches to the formation of a system for developing the competencies of a business entity’s team in strategy making are proposed, the program of which takes into account and is based on the need to take into account the balanced scorecard analysis system and is systematically linked to the training of risk management competencies on the basis of proactive development. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of applying the developed approach to improve strategy making and increase the sustainability of economic entities in a dynamic external environment.
