CURRENT TRENDS IN THE USE OF AUTOMATED AND ROBOTIC SYSTEMS IN THE ACTIVITIES OF HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The relevance of the study is to summarize the existing research results and highlight the sectoral features of the innovative aspect of the functioning of the hotel and restaurant industry in the hospitality industry system. The article summarizes the experience of foreign and domestic hospitality industry enterprises regarding the feasibility of using and searching for the most effective means of automation and robotization. The article aims at determining the factors influencing the current trends in the use of automated and robotic systems in the activities of hospitality industry enterprises. The motivational factors of foreign and domestic enterprises of the hotel and restaurant business regarding the relevance of applying innovative technologies, methods, tools and instruments to promote the competitiveness of economic entities in the hospitality industry in the service market are studied. In particular, the methods of systematization, generalization, comparison, analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction were used to reveal the topic of the research. The author emphasizes the high level of differences in the needs and demands of potential and actual consumers of hospitality services, with the main factor remaining the same - the quality of services. It is proved that changes in trends in the field of hotel services require changes and adaptation to the dynamics of needs and demands. The author emphasizes the priority among the trends in the hospitality industry of obtaining higher productivity indicators, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of accounting, and achieving effective results in work processes. It is confirmed that the use of automation systems creates conditions for avoiding errors associated with manual data entry and calculations, which can contribute to more accurate accounting and data reliability. It is concluded that among the trends in the hospitality industry, automation and robotization, due to the possibility of simplifying administrative regulatory functions and management processes, helps to reduce the labor intensity of work processes and its greater efficiency.
