MEASURES TO DEVELOP DIGITAL SOLUTIONS IN AGROLOGISTICS SPHERE

Abstract

The article examines the organizational and institutional mechanisms of supporting digitalization in agricultural logistics as a decisive factor for improving the efficiency of Ukrainian grain exports. It is emphasized that in the context of global competition, unstable geopolitical conditions, and wartime challenges, the ability of Ukraine to maintain and expand its export potential largely depends on the level of digital transformation in logistics. Modern digital technologies enable optimization of supply chains, reduction of transportation and transaction costs, acceleration of customs clearance, and strengthening of transparency in documentation processes, which is critically important for maintaining the reliability and reputation of Ukraine as a stable supplier on international grain markets. Special attention is given to the role of state policy in stimulating digitalization, which includes targeted support programs, tax incentives, international cooperation projects, and grant financing for logistics innovations. The article also emphasizes the need to increase the level of digital competence among farmers, trading companies, and logistics operators, since the successful implementation of technological solutions depends on human capital and the ability to use advanced digital tools effectively. The introduction of unified national platforms for monitoring and coordinating agricultural exports is proposed, as well as the integration of Ukrainian logistics operators into global digital supply chain systems. International experience demonstrates that countries have achieved significant improvements in logistics performance indicators (LPI) through large-scale adoption of digital technologies, ranging from electronic customs systems to integrated cargo tracking platforms. Ukraine’s alignment with these practices will not only raise its logistics efficiency but also facilitate deeper integration into the European and global markets. The study concludes that digitalization of agricultural logistics should be viewed not merely as a technological innovation, but as a strategic prerequisite for enhancing the competitiveness of Ukrainian grain exports, ensuring resilience against external shocks, and accelerating post-war economic recovery. Practical implementation of the proposed measures will reduce risks of logistical disruptions, increase the trust of international partners, and secure Ukraine’s role as one of the world’s leading exporters of grain and agricultural products in the long term.
