THE PROCESS OF ROBOTIZATION AND THE APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of modern society, in particular the process of robotization and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the construction sector. The relevance of the innovation and information process is based on the need to preserve existing resources and create new ones in accordance with current challenges in the global market and the peculiarities of domestic experience. Despite the outdated technologies used at our enterprises, temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, loss of resources, environmental disaster, declining birth rates, rising mortality, increasing burden on the female part of the labor market, lack of funds for their modernization, Ukraine has the potential for innovative development, relying on knowledge and ideas. The construction industry has always been more male-dominated, as the work is mostly physically demanding. The involvement of a significant proportion of men in the defense industry and the country's protection has caused a shortage of personnel at the construction site, which requires finding an alternative to replacing qualified workers by involving the robotization process and promoting the use of AI. The role of information and innovation programs in the development of various sectors of the economy is analyzed, in particular, the definition of the robotization process and AI and their role in the construction sector is given. The key components of future development under the conditions of the use of AI are outlined, including: the development of key human skills, redistribution of the global economy, rethinking the work process and education, which will contribute to building a new society. The advantages and disadvantages of using AI are identified. The study states that the general concept of the development of post-war Ukraine should be considered as an innovative project, where significant attention should be focused on a society that is constantly learning. It is worth noting that the experience of our country and people is unique and difficult, because we live in a war. The role of migration in the application of artificial intelligence and its impact on the construction sector is studied. Further prospects for the process of robotization and AI in the post-war economy are outlined.
