ANTI-CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF AN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE

Abstract

The article comprehensively explores the essence, fundamental principles, and practical instruments of anti-crisis management within the broader framework of organizational management. It underscores the vital necessity of implementing timely and well-structured anti-crisis measures in light of increasing economic instability, heightened uncertainty, and intensifying external threats to business environments. Emphasis is placed on understanding the nature of various types of crises-financial, operational, marketing, social, and managerial-and the importance of their early detection, accurate classification, and prompt response. The ability to recognize early warning signals and act accordingly is positioned as a core component of an effective and resilient management strategy that supports long-term viability. The study particularly focuses on the agricultural sector in the Lviv region, where a detailed evaluation of financial indicators of selected enterprises has been conducted. This includes an in-depth analysis of the composition and dynamics of assets and liabilities, levels of liquidity and solvency, efficiency of business activity, and profitability trends. The findings reveal heterogeneous levels of vulnerability to crises across enterprises, indicating the need for differentiated, context-sensitive, and adaptive strategies in managerial decision-making processes. Furthermore, the research proposes a robust and flexible methodological toolkit for financial diagnostics, encompassing SWOT analysis, the use of key financial ratios, and various qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques. Drawing on the insights obtained through empirical observation and analytical modeling, a comprehensive and phased system of anti-crisis measures is designed to stabilize operational processes, enhance internal controls, optimize resource allocation, restructure debt portfolios, and ultimately improve financial resilience. The article concludes that anti-crisis management should be viewed not only as a reactive response to emergent threats but also as a proactive, forward-looking, and strategic instrument for maintaining competitiveness and supporting sustainable growth and development under adverse and unpredictable conditions.
