BENCHMARKING IN THE SYSTEM OF ADAPTIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE ENTERPRISE'S COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract

competitiveness of modern enterprises in the context of global competition, digitalization and dynamic market changes. In the context of the complexity of consumer demands and the need to adapt to the turbulent external environment, benchmarking is considered as a strategic management method that allows assessing the effectiveness of business processes, identifying gaps in activities and integrating best practices to increase productivity and flexibility. The main goal of the study is to substantiate the significance of benchmarking for the formation of an adaptive management system that contributes to sustainable development and competitive advantages. The article analyzes in detail the algorithm for implementing benchmarking, which includes determining the objects of comparison, selecting reference companies, collecting and analyzing data, diagnosing deviations and implementing a change plan. Particular attention is paid to the integration of benchmarking with monitoring tools such as KPI, Balanced Scorecard, big data analytics, which ensure the objectivity of assessments and proactivity of management decisions. The study emphasizes that benchmarking not only contributes to operational improvement, but also forms a strategic basis for forecasting, risk reduction and creating added value. The novelty of the work lies in the conceptual synthesis of benchmarking with adaptive management, which is considered as a philosophy of continuous improvement. A model is proposed that combines the relationship between benchmarking and organizational flexibility, supported by practical recommendations for the use of analytical tools and the transformation of management processes. The conclusions of the study confirm that the systematic application of benchmarking creates conditions for the formation of a competitive management system focused on innovation, sustainability and long-term development of the enterprise. Further scientific research can be aimed at developing innovative models of integrating benchmarking with artificial intelligence technologies to automate data analysis and forecast market trends.
