THE CONCEPT OF ADAPTIVE MANAGEMENT OF A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Abstract

The article considers the concept of adaptive management, which includes key elements for effective management in conditions of change and unforeseen situations. The emphasis is on the importance of monitoring the external environment, risk analysis, integration of new technologies and strategic management. Special attention is paid to human resources management and their training, since in conditions of constant change and crisis, enterprises face a shortage of qualified personnel. Stakeholder management is separately discussed, in particular the need for communication and creating alliances to ensure support and minimize risks. The role of digitalization and energy-saving technologies in ensuring efficiency is emphasized. The importance of flexibility in strategic management and identifying needs at different stages of development, in particular during recovery from military operations, is highlighted. The article aims to contribute to understanding the concept of adaptive management as an important tool for sustainable development of enterprises in an unstable environment. In addition, the importance of integrating innovative approaches into strategic management to increase the competitiveness and resilience of organizations at all stages of recovery and development is emphasized. Adaptive management is a necessary component for ensuring the resilience of enterprises in the face of unpredictable changes and crises, in particular in the post-conflict period, when social, economic and infrastructural challenges require rapid response and flexibility. Important aspects are the integration of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence and digital solutions, which allow for rapid analysis of large amounts of data, automation of processes and reduction of costs. In addition, strategic management requires constant interaction with local communities, as their needs determine the priorities of recovery. Adapting to these needs allows not only to effectively restore infrastructure, but also to improve social stability, which is key to success in conditions of instability.
