INTEGRATION OF MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES INTO THE ENTERPRISE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to investigate the integration of modern information technologies into the strategic management system of enterprises as a critical component of digital transformation. The relevance of this topic stems from the growing necessity for businesses to adapt to rapidly changing technological environments, global competition, and increasing data complexity. In the context of Industry 4.0, companies are required to revise their strategic approaches by incorporating advanced digital tools that ensure agility, efficiency, and sustainability. The research methodology is based on a combination of comparative analysis, case study examination, and synthesis of current digitalization trends in management theory and practice. The study reviews a broad set of IT solutions, including ERP systems, CRM platforms, artificial intelligence, cloud services, machine learning, and big data analytics, assessing their strategic applicability and operational benefits. The results demonstrate that enterprises implementing these technologies benefit from improved coordination, better decision-making processes, enhanced productivity, and increased competitiveness. Moreover, the use of predictive analytics and intelligent automation contributes to more accurate forecasting, resource optimization, and personalized customer engagement. At the same time, the research identifies several critical challenges that companies face during digital integration, such as cybersecurity risks, lack of skilled personnel, resistance to innovation, and significant financial investments. Addressing these barriers requires a systematic approach, involving change management strategies, employee training programs, and clearly defined implementation stages supported by performance metrics. The practical value of this study lies in the development of recommendations aimed at ensuring effective and sustainable IT integration into enterprise strategic management. These include a roadmap for digital transformation, criteria for evaluating digital maturity, and guidelines for aligning IT capabilities with long-term business goals. The findings can be useful for managers, consultants, and policy-makers engaged in enterprise modernization.
