TIME MANAGEMENT METHODS AS A MEANS OF IMPROVING THE PROFESSIONAL EFFICIENCY OF WOMEN-TEACHERS OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article examines time management methods as an important tool for enhancing the professional efficiency of female university lecturers. In modern conditions, teaching activities require the combination of pedagogical, scientific, methodological, and administrative work, which creates a significant workload. This is especially true for women, who often have to balance professional responsibilities with family life. A lack of effective time management skills can lead to overload, procrastination, reduced productivity, and emotional burnout. Based on a survey conducted among female university lecturers, the main challenges in applying time management methods and their perceived effectiveness have been identified. It was found that the greatest difficulties are associated with distributing time among lesson preparation, scientific research, and administrative tasks. Based on the analysis, recommendations for improving time management approaches were formulated, which can help reduce procrastination, increase productivity, and improve the balance between professional and personal life for female lecturers. The results of the conducted study have potential value for a wide range of professionals and can be practically applied in various fields. First and foremost, they will be useful to educators who face the daily challenge of combining teaching, methodological, and research activities under time constraints. Knowledge of effective time management will enable them to better structure the educational process, plan lesson preparation, and allocate time more efficiently for grading and student interaction. For education managers, the findings can support the organization of internal institutional processes, including schedule optimization, delegation of responsibilities, project planning, and overall team efficiency enhancement. The conclusions from this scientific study may be beneficial to anyone working in a dynamic environment with a high level of professional workload who strives to achieve a better work-life balance while maintaining productivity, mental clarity, and internal motivation.
