ON THE ISSUE OF TARGETED ASPECTS OF STUDENT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN TOURISM STUDIES

Abstract

The article is devoted to certain aspects of student scientific work, which reflects one of the vectors of the content filling of the educational process in the direction of tourism studies, taking into account current challenges and promising trends. The article highlights the main key points in student scientific work related to understanding the object and subject of scientific research in the context of a multidisciplinary direction, after all, tourism is considered a "synthetic" scientific direction, combining economic, geographical, philosophical and other scientific fields, thereby forming the complexity of research on the one hand and a specialized direction on the other (philosophy of tourism, economics of tourism, etc.) Particular attention is paid to highlighting the main target guidelines in student tourism research, which relate to the specific, structural and functional aspects of the development of tourism activities. As a result, student scientific activity encompasses the following processes: 1) the formation and accumulation of knowledge that occurs as a result of specially organized scientific research in the context of a separate educational component; 2) the transfer of knowledge resulting from communications between scientists, in particular teachers and other persons engaged in scientific research. Communications can be both formal (scientific monographs, descriptions of inventions, materials of scientific meetings, forums, conferences, symposiums, scientific reports, dissertations), and informal (correspondence, conversations, exchange of preprints, reprints of articles, as well as currently widespread electronic journals, e-mail, electronic conferences, webinars, etc.); 3) reproduction of knowledge, which consists in training a student as a bachelor's or master's specialist, in the further formation of scientific personnel of higher educational and research institutions and specialized practitioners in the future. The correct understanding by the student of the supporting links in the functioning of tourism activities in the context of a theoretical and methodological approach will allow him to be a specialist in the future and clearly compare theory and its practical application.
