FUNCTIONAL ASPECT OF FORMING SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS UNDER UNSTABLE BUSINESS CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of applying the functional approach in the formation of supply chain management systems under unstable economic conditions. The purpose of the article is to study the problems and prospects for applying the functional approach in the formation of supply chain management systems. Under highly dynamic, unstable economic conditions, the functional aspect of forming supply chain management systems as an element of ensuring competitive advantages becomes relevant. Despite the study of the issues under consideration, the issue of functional content of the formation of supply chain management systems under unstable economic conditions remains somewhat neglected. The research methods used were the following: analysis, synthesis, morphological analysis etc. The relevance of the work is determined by the dynamism of the external environment. The information support of supply chain management functions is allocated. The basis for the modern development of supply chain management systems is the increasing importance (role) of information in them. It is noted that the information needs of the supply chain arise in accordance with the sequential implementation of the stages of order realization: demand, order, inventory status, production, supply, qualified personnel, purchasing department, order fulfillment control, plan, solving operational problems, guaranteeing the implementation of which in the measurable space of “quantity-quality-price-place-time” depends on the availability of an integrated information system of supply chain links (suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, carriers, logistics operators). It is proposed that when forming a supply chain management system, one should take into account their key functions, since supply chains are complex, complex systems that cover all stages of product movement from the manufacturer to the end consumer. It is noted that with the dynamic development of global economic activity, partial functions based on the five main ones are also being supplemented. The practical value of the article is that it is important to apply a functional approach when forming supply chain management systems.
