INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN BUSINESS
Abstract
Information technology plays a crucial role in modern business, enabling process automation, improved communications, analysis of large data sets, and increased productivity. The use of enterprise information systems, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain is fundamentally changing traditional business models and management processes. The paper examines the impact of information technologies on various areas of business, including service, management, and production. In the modern world, information technologies have become the main tool for increasing efficiency, optimizing processes, and creating competitive advantages. The introduction of technologies in the service sector allows you to automate customer service, improve communication, and personalize services, which significantly increases the level of consumer satisfaction. In management, information technologies contribute to the automation of business processes, the analysis of big data, and support for management decision-making at all levels, reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of the company. Despite its numerous benefits, the implementation of information technology in business is accompanied by certain challenges. The main problems include cybersecurity, significant financial costs for the development and integration of information systems, the need to adapt personnel to new technologies, and difficulties with the compatibility of different IT solutions. Production also does not remain aloof from technological innovations, since the use of information technologies makes it possible to automate processes, improve resource management, monitor quality, and optimize production chains. The challenges associated with the implementation of information technologies are separately considered, including issues of data security, infrastructure costs, and the need for personnel training. Artificial intelligence and business process automation significantly improve the efficiency of enterprises. The use of chatbots, recommendation systems, automated financial risk analysis systems and personalized marketing allows you to significantly reduce operating costs and improve customer service. The article emphasizes the importance of integrating information technologies into all aspects of business to ensure sustainable development and achieve high competitiveness in the context of globalization.
